Love them or hate them Fidget Spinners are everywhere! The irony is that before they became “kewl” I’d bought some for my 2 youngest sons’ who have autism but I do know that they can also help relieve some of the symptoms of ADHD and Anxiety. I will confess I also enjoyed having a quick spin of the fidget spinners too, although it is a little harder with long nails!! I like to try and include content on my YouTube channel from time to time that my boys will enjoy as it helps them to feel like they play a part in what Mum is working on in her office. As I write this, 24 hours ago I uploaded a Fidget Spinner Nails tutorial to my Youtube channel, and a mini fidget spinner nails video to my Instagram & Facebook page. Well, I thought it might do quite well with the novelty value but I wasn’t quite prepared how well and how viral it would go! It’s currently sitting on Facebook at 1.4 Million views, over 10 thousand shares and over 3.6 million people reached! That’s insane just for fidget spinner nails and nail art!
Fidget Spinner Nails – Mini Fidget Spinner Nail Art
I love trying to come up with new nail art trends, but it can be hard as almost every type of nail art nail polish design has literally been created by every blogger and Youtube channel. However, as I watched my boys playing with their fidget spinners, I realised that it would be a great challenge to try and create some fidget spinner nails using only nail art products and some household bits.

Fidget Spinner Nails – Update 24 hours on ?
Well what a strange 48 hours! A set of nails devised to help include my autistic sons’ in my YouTube channel have gone a little bit more than crazy. My 2 youngest sons who are YouTube crazy are so excited and keep asking me “how many now” in reference to the views and shares on my fidget spinner nails nail art tutorial! Only 48 hours after my initial posting of my Fidget Spinner Nails we are now on Facebook at over 7.3 million views, over 70k shares and so many thousands of comments that I can’t keep up! Thank you everyone, I really mean that. Making a career out of YouTube was the only and obvious option for me when the time came to sell my salon and put my 3 boys first. It’s not an easy road, but it’s certainly an interesting one. It’s been an amazing 48 hours seeing my boys’ faces when they look at the views on my Fidget Spinner Nails tutorial and literally are blown away. You are all amazing, thank you because rather than making them feel like that have to fit in with mainstream, you’ve made mainstream fit it with them xxxxx

What is a Fidget Spinner?
Fidget Spinners have been cited as being a soothing toy for adults and children with Autism & ADHD. Indeed I first heard about the Fidget Spinner through the ADHD community and could see potential benefits for my two youngest sons who both have Autism. I’m always looking for a good fiddle toy to help soothe particularly my youngest and Theraputty (Available here UK / US) gets everywhere and ruins clothes! (Although a good tip for how to get Theraputty out of clothes is to use 99% isopropyl alcohol/rubbing alcohol as this removes it from my son’s school jumper and trousers! ) We currently have 4 fidget spinners in the house but my youngest is nagging me for one the girls have a school which is a pink chrome fidget spinner!
