It’s that time of year again, and as I type this a good number of my nail tech friends are currently competing under scrutiny at the London College of Beauty Therapy for Scratch Stars 2019 judgment day!! I’ve done it once, many years ago, for Best Gel Polish Technician and I confirm it was one of my most stressful days ever! I actually feel guilty now when I enter the Best UK Nail Blogger category, as there’s nothing we actually have to do for the judges. They pick a day to look through all of our socials and we get to sit back (relatively) relaxed.

Speaking of Best UK Nail Blogger, you may recall that last year at Scratch Stars 2018 I was voted the Best UK Nail Blogger and it was an amazing experience! I truly was so grateful to win. I’ve been finalist for Best UK Nail Blogger in 2016, 2017 and 2018 but last year in 2018 I actually won and I can honestly say I was in shock. Sammy from The Nailasaurus had won the previous two years and she is such a lovely person. Also she has THE most beautiful dainty nails that it blows my mind completely how intricate the art is that she creates. However it’s not just Sammy that’s lovely, I find the whole nail blogging world in general really supportive and friendly, which gives me a lovely warm feeling!

This year I’m a finalist again for Best UK Nail Blogger 2019 with Scratch Stars and there’s some new and really exciting faces amongst the finalists. I love discovering new people in my genre to follow, and Scratch Stars and Scratch magazine is a fantastic platform for it. In fact, if you love nails, you really need to look into subscribing to Scratch if you haven’t yet. I was very blessed to be a monthly columnist for them last year, and I loved producing a double page spread every month to share everything I love about nails.

The Beginning of Something Amazing!
Last year when I attended the Scratch Stars Awards, my head was absolutely swimming as I was about to launch my own top secret brand “Divine By Natasha Lee”.
In another couple of months I’ll be celebrating Divine By Natasha Lee’s (DBNL) first birthday, and it just makes me realise what a crazy, amazing year that it has been. Thank you everyone for joining me on this insane journey, and I cannot wait to get dressed up and party again at this years Scratch awards!!
