Continuing on with my Essential Beauty Basics, this week I wanted to show you some super quick and easy tips using only 3 products on how to make your eyes look bigger, brighter & whiter. These tips are perfect if you are in a rush and want to brighten up your face, or can be included with your full eyeshadow application to make your eyes look even bigger and whiter. This follows on perfectly from last weeks blog on How To Cover Undereye Dark Circles. As a 30 something ginger mum of 3, I quite often don’t have as much time as I’d like to apply my makeup and disguise my tired red eyes, especially if the kids have kept me up all night, but these quick tips stop me looking like an extra from the Walking Dead when I’m at the school gates. 😉
Make Your Eyes Look Bigger, Bright & Whiter Product List
Below is my list of products and tools that I use for this look, if however you already have some similar products and tools hanging around then you could just use those.

MAKE YOUR EYES LOOK BIGGER, BRIGHTER & WHITER METHOD
After covering up any undereye dark circles/red toned eyelids take your Rimmel Soft Kohl White Eyeliner pencil. As this is going to be used right on the waterline of your eye, make sure that it is clean but if freshly sharpened, soften the point of the pencil on your hand. You don’t want to stab yourself in the eye with it and completely defeat the object of what you are trying to do 😉 Then gently pull down your undereye area with your non dominate hand, and line the waterline gently back and forth with your white eyeliner pencil. This disguises the red skin around your eyes and makes the whites look whiter and gives the illusion of bigger eyes 
Next using your firm blending eyeshadow brush and a white eyeshadow, add some white eyeshadow to the skin around the inner corner of your eye. It doesn’t need to be too much, just enough to brighten the area and give the appearance of wider, brighter eyes. Next take some white eyeshadow and dust it just under the arch of your brow. This gives the impression of lifting the eye and making it look more awake and open. 
Finally, take a pair of eyelash curlers and curl your lashes. This in itself can make a huge difference to making your eyes look much bigger and brighter. Finish off with a generous slick of mascara. Just make sure you don’t make it clumpy! To get a really good coverage with mascara, apply the wand right at the base of your lashes, and wiggle it back and forth gently as you pull the wand through your lashes; this give a great coverage on every lash and helps to make the lashes look more curled.
