Trains, Planes and Automobiles
You may recall my blog in September about attending Olympia Beauty in London. Whilst there, I spent some time at the Gel II stand trying out the products and chatting with their CEO Michael Le and Director of Sales Sandra Lombardi. I was very kindly invited to join them a few weeks later in Kansas to experience their La Palm Artistry & Leadership Academy (LALA) Education Reboot 2.0. I thought it would be a great opportunity to find out more about this “New To The UK” company and share with all my lovely followers how I found the products, the company and their ethos & attitude. Never in a…

Gel 2 Removal Tutorial (Gel II)
Following on from my “First Impressions” blog post about Gel II, I was inundated with enquiries about how was it wearing on me and how easy is Gel 2 Removal? I had to remove my first application of Gel II prematurely after only 4 days due to a change in business commitments so I didn’t get a chance to properly film removal. I can however confirm at the time of removal on day 4 it was still perfect.

Olympia Beauty London 2014
I love going to both Olympia Beauty & Excel in London each year, and I’m just back from my latest trip to Olympia last Sunday. It’s always buzzing with stands, offers and new products as well as talks and exhibitions and this year certainly didn’t disappoint. Whilst I do adore all things hair and beauty, I am always drawn back to nail stands, like a moth to a light 😉 This year was no exception, but there was a new kid on the block that I wanted to go and visit, spend some time with and have a good old nosey about and ask questions; and that was Gel II!

Vivienne Westwood Red Label SS15
Sunday 14th September was Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label SS15 catwalk show for London Fashion Week. I have never worked any of the Fashion Week shows before, so to be working at Vivienne Westwood on my first experience was absolutely amazing, even more so to be assisting Marian Newman as part of her team. The artistic freedom and spontaneity was breathtaking and made the whole experience just wonderfully fun. The team was amazing to work with and included Marian, Lyndsay Mcintosh, David Barton, Hollie Wakeham, Charlie Jepson and Jennie Nippard.

Gel 2 Review & Tutorial (Gel II UK) *updated 1 year on!*
So I’m just in receipt of some of the brand new Gel II Foggy London Collection gel polishes! Now when I first saw these advertised in Scratch Magazine earlier this year I was really interested. Unlike other brands of gel polish, Gel 2 is a 2 stage polish so there’s no need to apply base coat and up to 3 weeks wear, this intrigued me! Some people may know my history in the industry, but incase you don’t, I am a CND Grand Master, winner of CND Shellac Power Polisher 2013 and a former CND Shellac Education Ambassador. So for me to try a different brand of gel polish was…

MoYou London Review & Tutorial
So MoYou London have sent me some goodies and bits and pieces to try out and review. 🙂 I have 2 of the standard MoYou London stamping plates and one XL stamping plate as well as their large stamper and scraper for review. Until now I’ve had some other popular brands of stamping plates and stampers but had coveted how beautiful the look and designs of the MoYou plates were. I’d spent far too long on the MoYou London website perusing the amazing designs. The issue wasn’t finding 3 plates to choose, it was limiting my choice to 3 plates. The range is sensational with designs and images I have…

Viva La Juicy Gold Couture Perfume
I was lucky enough earlier this year to be part of a close team of 4 Nail Technicians (myself, Lucy Holliday, Danielle Edgington-Gibson and Nickie Rhodes-Hill) working at the Viva La Juicy Gold Couture Perfume Launch at the Soho Hotel in London. It was a wonderful intimate day in opulent and beautifully fragrant surroundings, where ladies from the various top magazines joined us for a hour or so, sipped on champagne, ate gold encrusted Hors d’Oeuvres and were pampered with golden manicures whilst finding out more about this new luxurious fragrance from Juicy Couture. Very Gold Couture! #coutureoverdose

Little Bit Of Everything TAG
So I was nominated by someone who wants to remain nameless to do the little bit of everything tag! 😉 I’ve procrastinated on this a bit but here we have it. If anyone doesn’t know what it is then just type into You Tube “Little Bit Of Everything Tag” and you’ll see lots of bloggers/vloggers have uploaded their contribution. It’s a fun way to ask different bloggers the same 30 questions and see what random answers that you get! I nominate Kate Dix of Dixie Girlxox, Steve Grady of SteveGrady.org, Hollie Wakeham of Hollie Wakeham and Karen of LiverpoolLashes!! There’s a video of my vlog at the end of the post…..enjoy!!…
